Sumit Meditating

Sumit says as a teacher I have noticed that if the participants follow my diet tips, call me if they have food cravings or they have broken their diet plans wherein i can guide them, 95 % of the participants have lost 10 - 15 kgs in one month. There have been many cases of excess weight loss, where i had to tell the participants to drastically increase their diet!
Sumit Lal's Power Yoga Sessions move with a fast rhythm. There are very few moments of being in a pose and getting the feeling that it's taking forever. Soon enough, you'll be out and moving on to the next Asana. Other forms of yoga may be ideal for flexibility and meditation, but in Power Yoga, you lift and hold your entire body's weight constantly. Sumit's Power Yoga Sessions incorporate a serious number of Vinyasas (sequence of poses), leading to quick weight loss and getting your entire body into gear.

Pune Mirror

These days, the news about yoga is everywhere. Celebrities, medical professionals, even your friends and neighbors are raving about the benefits of yoga. But you aren't sure. You have a busy, hectic life, and frankly, you like it that way.

You thrive on the move, and although you occasionally wish for a few moments of peace, you think sitting in the lotus position for an hour sounds like a big bore.

There will be days you can’t fit in a 90-minute yoga class.
Sometimes you really want to exercise but don’t manage
to reach . Stay calm...Sumit will guide you personally but please mention your concerns with Sumit Lal.

Guess what? This isn't the yoga you thought you knew. This yoga moves, breathes, bends, arches, swings, sways, flows, and dances. This yoga speaks to you in a language you understand. In a world that moves as fast as this one does, where information is transmitted from continent to continent in a few seconds, where people eat on the run, work on the run, and then go running, few people feel they have the time to spend in a class that forces them to be still. We don't remember how to be still!

Power Yoga allows us to move, work our muscles, and really get somewhere. Power Yoga builds strength and endurance fast, giving you the results you want quickly, but it also works another kind of magic on the hurried, frayed, overworked bodies and minds of those who practice it.

Power Yoga is not only meditative but also physically challenging. Central to the technique of power yoga is the sequencing of postures with interlinking transitional movements and a synchronized breathing pattern. These create a flowing connection of yoga postures that gives you a balanced workout and mental clarity.

Gradually, subtly, it teaches you how to slow down when you need to slow down. It gives you control over the body you thought had taken the reins of you.
It calms, clears, and brightens the mind so that you can work smart and live in a healthy way. It clarifies.

What Is Yoga?
Yoga is a system of techniques that reflects real and proven scientific concepts. Many things scientists understand about the body have actually been known by yoga practitioners for centuries. Yoga sees the body from a different perspective than traditional medicine, but the basic principles are the same. What we call nerve plexus, yoga calls chakras (although these terms don't coincide precisely — chakras include psychospiritual energy). What we call spinal alignment, yoga accomplishes through various poses or exercises.

The human body is in a constant state of flux, continually adjusting internally to the influence of a changing external environment. Medicine calls this process homeostasis. Yoga's five sheaths of existence—in essence, the body, the breath, the emotions, the intellect, and happiness—reflect the same need for balance between internal and external forces. The terminology may be different, but the concepts are universal.
